Kim has been involved in photography since childhood and has spent the past 30 plus years working in photography, printing, graphic design and assorted art related fields.

With the advent of the technology available today, there has been a wonderful coming together of all work that has come before. While honoring and emulating the styles and techniques of the Old Masters, new technology has given rise to a brand new art media. It is this media in conjunction with traditional media that Kim chooses to create her portraits.

While every detail of the final portrait is planned and controlled, Kim strives to capture the little things that make each individual uniquely who they are. Even traditionally posed portraits will capture the little nuances of each individual.
